Program: Your personal brand: Embrace the power of you.
Description: You have a personal brand. Whether you’ve given it any thought or not, it’s on display in every interaction. It’s too important to leave to chance, especially if you’re looking for an edge in the workplace. So what is your personal brand? How do you know for sure? And once you figure it out, what do you DO with that information?
Dr. Lynn Manternach offers an easy-to-follow process for defining your personal brand and tips for embracing the power of you in the workplace and beyond.

Dr. Lynn Manternach is a branding expert with a passion for using data to develop brand stories that matter. She helps companies understand and articulate their brand so they can maximize their reputation and their bottom line.
Lynn is co-founder, president and brand arsonist at MindFire Communications, a branding agency with offices in Le Claire and Cedar Rapids.
She is a columnist for the Corridor Business Journal, where she writes about branding, research and marketing.
Lynn is also president of the Professional Advisory Board for the University of Iowa School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Outside of work, Lynn and her husband are working on seeing as many 80s and 90s bands as possible. They’ve seen more than 400 concerts since 1981.

Please note that since September 2018, due to PMI process change in reporting PDUs, we will not be reporting PDUs on behalf of members for Chapter Meetings. The members will have to claim on their own manually. We still plan to do for Yearly Professional Development Day (PDD). Please refer to the link for more info.
