Program: Are You Prepared to Bounce Back?
Description: Have you ever had a project not go as planned? How does it feel when you do not get the job or promotion you felt you deserved? How do you respond when there is a significant change in scope right in the middle of a project or when you lose two members of the team because of shifting priorities?
Resilience is the ability to recover quickly from adversity and disappointment. Hardiness, an important factor in resilience, is a set of psychological qualities that characterize people who continue to perform well under stressful conditions.
In this interactive presentation, you will identify the three components of hardiness: challenge, control and commitment. We will explore how to develop these skills within yourself as well how leaders can create an environment for hardiness to flourish within the team.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is essential to demonstrate a flexible, confident and passionate approach to life. You will have an opportunity to assess your level of connection to several different behaviors as well as gain insight as to how to develop each.

Please note that since September 2018, due to PMI process change in reporting PDUs, we will not be reporting PDUs on behalf of members for Chapter Meetings.
