Program: Panel Discussion with local Program Manager experts
Description: Are you interested in being a Program Manager? Or do you work with Program Managers and have questions about the role? Join us for a panel discussion with local Program Manager experts from the insurance, energy and education industries. You will learn about Program Management at United Fire Group, Alliant Energy and ACT and be able to use that knowledge for integrations with Program Management and the future roles that you hold in your organization.
Talent Triangle: Strategic and Business Management
Presenter: Amy Rupp, Cassie Rochholz, and Teresa Davis
Teresa Davis is a Lead Strategic Project Manager at Alliant Energy. In her 12 years at Alliant Energy, she has been responsible for scheduling and costing distribution and transmission line construction with annual budgets of $70 - $80M and project management of more than $100M in transmission and substation construction, including the oversight of rebuilding the substations in downtown Cedar Rapids after the 2008 floods. In 2017, she took on an exciting opportunity to manage a program to install smart meters in Iowa which includes the build out of a radio frequency network, installation of more than 700,000 meters and modules, and several technology upgrades. This program impacts many of our employees, most of our customers, and other external stakeholders. She is skilled in Project Management, Project Planning, Asset Management, and Process Improvements.
Teresa received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Iowa with a double major in Human Resources and Management Information Systems. She completed her PMP Certification in January 2018. Teresa resides in Walker, IA with her husband Jason and two teenage daughters. She and her husband are owners of Rhi-Dav Farms in Vinton, IA – her family’s multi-generation farm. She is also a member on the Board of Education at Center Point Urbana School District. In her spare time, she enjoys bicycling, golfing, and kayaking.
Cassie Rochholz is a product director and has been leading implementation teams professionally since 2004. Cassie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and is certified in Pragmatic Marketing. In her 17-year tenure at ACT, Inc, Cassie has successfully implemented over 25 client-facing testing programs and currently works on strategic projects with the commercial office. Most notable accomplishments include the introduction of computer-based testing on the ACT for State and District contracts as well as Internationally. Cassie and her husband reside in Solon, IA with their children.

Please note that since September 2018, due to PMI process change in reporting PDUs, we will not be reporting PDUs on behalf of members for Chapter Meetings. The members will have to claim on their own manually. We still plan to do for Yearly Professional Development Day (PDD). Please refer to the link for more info.
