Please join Jeff Hoefer, senior manager of strategic projects at Alliant Energy, for an overview of the Big Cedar Industrial Center, key industrial site features, benefits of industrial growth, and the project management challenges and risks in managing an industrial site project through property assessment, land acquisition, and the certification process to make a site ready for future development projects.

Presenter: Jeff Hoefer
Jeff Hoefer is a senior manager of strategic projects in the Alliant Energy program and project management department. He has thirty two years of professional experience in the utility and telecommunications industries and has been with Alliant Energy for thirteen years. Jeff’s current responsibilities include industrial growth projects and the natural gas transmission pipeline construction program. Prior to Alliant Energy, Jeff worked in management and engineering roles at McLeodUSA, Perot Systems Corporation, and AT&T Bell Laboratories. He holds a BS degree from Iowa State University, an MS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
