This workshop teaches you how to optimize your resume and cover letter using AI. You'll learn how to prompt more effectively when working with AI, and you'll also learn how to optimize resumes to pass new filters that are attached to more and more job listings. This session is intended to do more than just get you a better resume for one listing - you should be able to walk away knowing how to tailor every resume going forward. In addition, you'll be able to use some of the session's teachings and techniques to work with AI tools more effectively - a valuable skill to add to your new resume.

Bloom
Drew Bloom graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic. He completed a Master's in Education at Iowa and taught social studies for five years at Iowa City West High. Beginning in 2022, Drew started working with AI technologies like ChatGPT to help teachers prepare lessons and give feedback to students. Today, Drew is a Senior Automation Consultant for Affinity Consulting Group. In this role, he creates custom AI automations for law firms, offers strategic consulting for firms adapting to new technologies, and provides training on a range of AI tools in the legal industry. Drew also offers these services to schools and businesses through his company, Mosaic Solutions. Because education is his passion, he is focused on providing AI enablement to professionals in the Eastern Iowa community, helping them stay up to date and competitive in today's rapidly evolving workplace.
