PMI® Eastern Iowa Chapter Leadership Opportunities
2019 Board of Directors
The foundation of the PMI® Eastern Iowa Chapter (EIC) rests with our members who step up to a leadership or board member role to help our chapter achieve its goals and improve member value. Volunteering your time in the chapter increases your opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and networking.
We are currently working to identify a slate of candidates to fill the elected Board of Director positions for 2019:
Vice President of Communications & Publicity
Vice President of Education
Vice President of Finance
Vice President of Operations
Vice President of Outreach

Board members are elected to one-year terms that commence on January 1 of each year.
Board Members should expect to spend approximately 10 hours per month on chapter activities.
Board members are expected to attend the monthly chapter meeting, a monthly Board of Directors meeting, a monthly leadership team conference call, and the annual Professional Development Day. Board members may also be asked to write an article for the chapter newsletter or provide content for the chapter website.
The primary attribute for any candidate is a willingness to devote time and effort as an officer of the chapter.
The second basic requirement is that you are a PMI® and PMI® EIC member in good standing.
For the President and President-Elect positions only, you must have a valid PMP® certification.
This is the “final call” for submissions. Submissions after November 14th 5:01 pm will not be considered. Elections will take place in December.
